Hi again... another update, got an email from cris... :star:EAD card mailed out on 6/17. My husband will be delighted to see his EAD card soon. Good Luck to all :dance:

I went to the Social Security Office to change my last name on the card as I received Work permit on Saturday. The officer was so mean and chewing gum all the time. She told me only one sentence at the end and I couldn't understand exactly what she told ( probably how long it will take for a card to arrive) Completely opposite service to the first time.

How is it going with job hunting to the ones, who have already started?

K-1 Visa journey:

January '04: met in the USA

21st June '07: sent the I-129

06th November '07 - APPROVED, FINALLY !!!

19th December '07:Medical

20th December '07: Interview Date

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

AOS journey:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

07th May '08: Biometrics (done)

02nd May '08: Driver's license received

09th May '08: AOS transferred to CSC

15th May '08: AOS is pending at CSC (CRIS email)

Vika-san, sorry to hear about your RFE. Hope it's just a minor thing (F)

I received expedited AP hard copies today :blush: Wow, it is with color photo :blink:

Well, my father still needs intensive care, but he can talk, read newspapers. I booked the flight of 23rd, 1 week ahead. At that time, I didn't expect USCIS could move that fast :devil:. Since my dad became stable a little bit, it should be OK.

Wherever I am, as long as internet is available, I'll keep posting the list :whistle: It's my hobby now... :hehe:

Just got the email EAD has been APPROVED!!!

We are so excited now we can finally get a drivers license with her real name.

One more update... I couldn't believe my eyes when I found an email from CRIS in my mailbox one hour ago "EAD card production ordered"

They didn't touch my case since biometrics. Wow, what's going on?? :blink:

I need money, I bought my own used car this weekend :blush: I lost good amount of my money already. With this timing, I have to leave US... that sucks :( , but when I return, everything would be fine... my old dad, my job, everything... I pray.

Wish good news come to everyone here! :star:

One more update... I couldn't believe my eyes when I found an email from CRIS in my mailbox one hour ago "EAD card production ordered"

They didn't touch my case since biometrics. Wow, what's going on?? :blink:

Please follow the instructions provided on the notice. We will notify you by mail when a decision is made. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to update your address. You can use our processing dates to estimate when your case may be processed by following the link below.
