First of all - I've been SUPER busy at work and haven't had time to do much besides check in on all your progress reports - congrats to all on all the good news lately. It's been especially great to hear about all the EAD news for those who filed early April. It gives me hope that I'll get help with the mortgage soon! :blink:

My husband just called to tell me that we had mail from USCIS saying that his case was transferred to CSC. :dance: Woot! The notice was dated June 10th. And for all you Touch-Addicts, I haven't had a touch since just after biometrics, and no emails either - so hang in there everyone waiting for news.

Thanks english rose.. He actually called me at 1.30 last night so I feel a lot better :) He's missing me as much as I miss him & definately not having a good time that makes it even harder

I'll be really concerned for you when he gets deployed. (1 year) It's kind of a rough way of starting a new life. I hope all works well for you two.

Thanks soul.. I know its a difficult journey ahead and we have been preparing for it for a long time (known it since november 07). Better to spend a day together than to not even try is what we go by. He's really good and understanding and comforting when it comes to this. Hopefully I will find a job when he leaves to keep me busy. Also the internet & phone service is a lot better in Iraq compared to the training camp - No phones or internet..

Sorry I haven't been actively participating in the thread lately - decided to disengage from my AOS a bit and get myself busy by helping my husband with his work. That way he doesn't have to work extra hours here and there and I feel like I'm doing something :whistle: So it's a win-win.

On the news side... Nothing positive - quite the opposite.

Got an e-mail from CRIS last night saying they mailed out an RFE :crying:

Now waiting for the mail notice to arrive to find out what it is... Called customer service hoping to find out more, but was told they had no access to specific information (just like I thought, but it was worth a shot) :angry:

My husband has to appear for his aos interview july 1--we figured we'd get an interview since our case wasn't transferred but we were planning to move few days before and it's a bigger pain to change the interview date. Has anyone recently had their interview?

Sorry I haven't been actively participating in the thread lately - decided to disengage from my AOS a bit and get myself busy by helping my husband with his work. That way he doesn't have to work extra hours here and there and I feel like I'm doing something :whistle: So it's a win-win.

On the news side... Nothing positive - quite the opposite.

Got an e-mail from CRIS last night saying they mailed out an RFE :crying:

Now waiting for the mail notice to arrive to find out what it is... Called customer service hoping to find out more, but was told they had no access to specific information (just like I thought, but it was worth a shot) :angry:

Hi again... another update, got an email from cris... :star:EAD card mailed out on 6/17. My husband will be delighted to see his EAD card soon. Good Luck to all :dance:
