Guys, I just received CRIS email!! :energy: My case was transferred today! :dance:

May 09 - Received in mail 3 NOAs (AOS, EAD, AP: notice date May,5/2008) - ALL CASES ONLINE

May 12 - Received in mail Biometrics appointment (notice date May,8/2008)

May 16 - Touch (3 cases) ?

May 22 - Biometrics appointment - done

July 07 - AP approval notice and EAD card production ordered (email and online)

July 08 - touch AP and EAD

July 09 - touch EAD

July 10 - email from CRIS, EAD card production ordered

July 14- email from CRIS and online update, EAD aproval notice sent

July 14 - received EAD card

Question ? My husband went to get his drivers permit yesterday and when we tried to schedule the driving test, we were told that he needs his SSN first for Wisconsin. I'm guessing your state doesn't ask for your SSN? We can't get SSN until after we receive our work permission.

Not sure what the rule is in WI but when I first arrived and tried to get my DL, I just went to the SSA and showed them my valid I-94. With this the SSA were able to provide me with a letter saying that even without a SSN, I could get my DL. I can't recall what the letter was called but they give it out. I never did use it because my DL was only good for as long as my I-94 was valid for.

Well, I hope it's a good sign... But I'm scared that I would get an RFE :unsure: . We'll see, no reason to break my head now if I don't know anything for sure.
