Congratulations Mary and sunnylight! I'm glad April filers are getting some love :)

I haven't been touched since May 9th and my Biometrics was May 22nd. I'm not losing hope that we will get transferred to CSC - it seems like such a random and by chance occurrence so you just never know your luck.

Really just anxious for that EAD and AP approval - anxious to start looking for a job and also more anxious to know that I can fly home in an emergency (hopefully not required though!).

CONGRATULATION Sunny. That is awesome news....

I checked the my timeline again and the date has now moved to July 13th for approx approval for EAD. I am so sad, I have not got one Touch, none. No emails, no news. So discouraging. I know I need to be patient, but I mean almost everyone at least got a touch when they did the biometrics. I wonder if I screwed up badly going to the Biometrics 2 weeks early...

We haven't received any touches since our biometrics either :( Granted we just had it recently so I am trying to be patient. So hard!

Question ? My husband went to get his drivers permit yesterday and when we tried to schedule the driving test, we were told that he needs his SSN first for Wisconsin. I'm guessing your state doesn't ask for your SSN? We can't get SSN until after we receive our work permission.

05.02.2008 - Sent AOS & EAD package to Chicago.

05.04.2008 - Package recieved in Chicago.

05.09.2008 – Received NOA's.

06.04.2008 - Biometrics appt.

07.25.08 - Work Permission Received in Mail

07.28.08 - Applied for Social Security Number

08.04.08 - Received Social Security Number in Mail

09.29.08 - Started job

01.29.09 - AOS Interview

I hate to break it to you Steph but I doubt very much that you'll be transferred to CSC. People who adjust from visitor visas or VWP pretty much always have an interview. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. (F)

I am in for the long, ignored haul... Actually i can deal with the interview and the wait for that. I just at least want my EAD. I have lived on my own since I was 15 and NEVER not had some kind of job.

Well there's nothing wrong with that. Perhaps your local office isn't very busy and you'll get your interview long before those of us at CSC get adjudicated. :thumbs:
