Hopefully all the estimates (re: EAD) is correct because I will be more than READY to start work after July 4th festivities :)

But all my friends have been saying that a month into the job, I'd probably be wishing to be on holidays! Possibly so, but it feels great to be doing something and working for the money ;)

Waiting, waiting, waiting....

I am waiting too :yes: and cannot wait ... I have never had 5 months vacation in my life !!! too much :whistle:

06th November '07 - APPROVED, FINALLY !!!

19th December '07:Medical

20th December '07: Interview Date

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

07th May '08: Biometrics (done)

02nd May '08: Driver's license received

I have never had 5 months vacation in my life !!! too much :whistle:

I bet! I've only been on vacation for 2 months (time before the wedding can't count because I would hardly call that a vacation). But I'm already going stir crazy when left at home sometimes (since I don't have a drivers license yet - thanks, DMV!)

Anyway...back to waiting...perhaps tomorrow will be a good email day?! :D

I just read a post about a transfer...Layne had the biometrics the day 21 of may and today receive in the mail, a transfer notice letter...

Patriciaofoz, Steph0814, Ella and Me with biometrics in the same day, 22 of may!!

MAYBE tomorrow is a good day for us to check the mail box!!

Hi there, I haven't posted in a looong time (being married takes away all my free time and I love it!) but just wanted to add in my info. My husband's EAD and AP were approved yesterday (June 2nd) and we were informed via email. Just waiting for the official docs to come in the mail, but yay! Just waiting for a sign of life on the AOS--looks like we're not being transferred to CSC as it hasn't been touched since the biometrics appt. Oh well. As long as it gets approved in a decent time, we'll deal with it.

Oh!! Steph0814, maybe they don't use biometrics date for that...never knows...but I believe that until tomorrow we should have or no some new...after tomorrow than I will not wait for transfer anymore...

That's fantastic! My biometrics was a month after yours, so perhaps my EAD and AP are a month away :)

I just checked the approx time for approval on my timeline and it moved up a day for both the AP & the EAD. :crying:

The same here :angry:

They were so good with approving EADs for March filers !!! Let's hope there's no going to be a slow down for us :huh:

K-1 Visa journey:

January '04: met in the USA

21st June '07: sent the I-129

06th November '07 - APPROVED, FINALLY !!!

19th December '07:Medical

20th December '07: Interview Date

21st December '07: VISA IN HAND

18th January '08: Leaving to US !

12th February '08: received SSN

14th March '08: WEDDING DATE

AOS journey:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

07th May '08: Biometrics (done)

02nd May '08: Driver's license received

09th May '08: AOS transferred to CSC

15th May '08: AOS is pending at CSC (CRIS email)

18th May '08: AOS touched

04th/09th June '08: EAD Card production ordered (CRIS email) (2 e-mails on different days)

04th June '08: AP approved (CRIS email)

10th June '08: AP in the mail

12th June '08: Approval notice for I765 sent (EAD) (CRIS email)

14th June '08: EAD in the mail

17th June '08: 2nd visit to SS Office - changed my last name on the card

28th June '08: SS card received with a new last name (in the mail)
