Yeah, but what those transfers do really mean??? There is a chance for getting a GC without the interview? I'm more concerned about my EAD, to be honest. I cannot work, I cannot take a road test, I even cannot change my last name on the SSN card which I had from my school years (which is absolutely ridiculous, in my opinion; people can get NEW SSN as soon as they file AOS but to ONLY change my name on it I have to wait for my EAD at least... )

I wish the transfer meant for my EAD be issued sooner :) -- today it's 46 days since filing AOS

Filed April 16, Transfer May 22.

Hi, to kill time, I tried creating table from VJ timeline. :whistle:

I'm an engineer, but from different field, so please forgive my clumsy work :blush:

If I can paste spreadsheet here, it's much easier, but I couldn't find the way... :huh: imported data using Web query that I've never used before :innocent: , formatted/sorted by Excel macro, exported as text... long way, spent all day :lol:

I tried that way, but I could not attach it as an image... This forum allows you to attach an image, but it requires URL. :( I don't have any URL for this purpose.... :crying:

But it's okay... My husband leaves me alone so long, going to office, seeing his kids.... no time for me :angry: So I'm putting minor changes to my goofy macro :whistle: so that I can create & post this list in 10 minutes. :thumbs:

and the last "transfer" date was the day 22 of April, 2008.

I have no idea why they stop to transfer...but "maybe" they still can transfer some of us that went to the biometrics already....

:)

I would like to be transfered...and don't need to go to a interview with a lot of papers again (k1 interview)...plus if we have interview, we would need to travel to another city for that...

November 29 - receive Welcome Letter in the mail (dated November,20/2008)

December 1 - email from CRIS (and update online) saying that they send the Welcome letter on December 1 (I received the letter November 29 LOL)

December 2 - touch AOS

December 5 - GREEN CARD arrived (expire in 2 years from the day of the interview)

No transfer yet for who file after the day 16 of April, 2008...interesting

and the last "transfer" date was the day 22 of April, 2008.

Yes, exactly. And very remarkable cluster there, April 4th filers. Seems like an officer grabbed a pile of applications of the day and sent them to CSC. Other transfers shows similar, more or less.

Hope other files are processed as well :star:

04th April '08: AOS package sent

11th April '08: Notice date on all 3 NOA's (15 April in the mail)

That makes me mad, :angry: cause we filed on April 4 originally and USCIS returned the package saying a document was missing where it really wasn't. We sent the package back and they accepted it this time... which is fine except for the fact we lost 2 weeks because of it!!! :angry:

Hopefully, some good comes out of this delay and they transfer your case and you get an approval in 2-3 months (F):)
