Good - that's an easy enough fix, I guess. I hope all else goes smoothly.

Funny, my hubby is the applicant, but his mind and body go numb whenever he even has to THINK about anything paperwork-related. So, I too gave him a list of what I needed and took the reigns. I guess since he came here to be with me, that's fair enough.

No, I won't. I was pretty annoyed with him when I first opened the RFE, but since I spoke with him and discovered that it is something really simple and I can get it sent off straight away I've calmed down quite a bit.

LOL, it's good to know that I'm not only woman who researched and prepared everything needed for the paperwork.... I was very frustrated with my husband, but after knowing this, a bit calmed down... B)

Oh, I got biometrics appointment now! Bummer, it's a bit far ahead.... May 23rd.

Hi, we have the same sked but I just want to ask what are the documents you got? I got 3 Notice of Action. I-765; I-485 and ASC appointment notice.. I'm just wondering where is the documents for Advance parole..I didn't remember I signed the form for that.can u give me idea please..thanks a lot..

We are planning to file this week too ( before going for our honeymoon on Sat) !

You mean, you didn't fill out I-131 for AP? If you sent only I-485 & I-765, there's no wonder. What you received is correct. If you need AP, you can file it for free with I-485 NOA1....

Oh so sorry!

They are probably requesting the W2 and 1099.

We got an RFE.

But I'm not really sure what they're asking for so if anyone can help I'd appreciate it. The RFE is for 'all supporting tax documentation submitted to the IRS for the most recent tax year'. With our application we sent them a copy of the tax return that was filed last month. What else could they want from this year? I don't know anything about US taxes and my husband is at work right now and uncontactable. Any help would be appreciated.

my husband is not self employed, so we didn't include one.

does every applicant need to include this form?

i sure hope we don't get an RFE because of it.

You only have to include the 1099 if one was received. I had one, not for being self-employed, but for bank interest(not much, but enough to count as income, i guess). Not everybody gets them, so no worries (hopefully!). So if your husband didn't get one, or have to include one with his FTR filing, you're all set.

I got my biometrics taken today - 9 days earlier than my original appointment!!!

Did you send the 2007 W2 (statement of earnings from employer) and/or 1099s (other records of earnings from banks, etc)? That's all I can think. Good luck.

Thanks for replying. As luck would have it my husband just called from work and he also believes they want the W2. I have no idea why he didn't give me one to send with the initial application, but we'll save that conversation for when he gets home!! The I-864 is the only thing I asked him to do, I did everything else. Typical!

My husband is awesome but he's terrible with paperwork! We could have filed back in February, had to wait on his papers for I-864

We normally work in the same office (used to... before I had to fly over to marry him and adjust my status) and I always do his paperwork and reports for him.. it saves me a lot of hassle

My husband is awesome but he's terrible with paperwork! We could have filed back in February, had to wait on his papers for I-864

We normally work in the same office (used to... before I had to fly over to marry him and adjust my status) and I always do his paperwork and reports for him.. it saves me a lot of hassle

The good news is that I photocopied his W2 this morning and mailed everything back for the RFE, so it shouldn't delay us too much.

My case showed up online today. But still no news about the biometrics. I think we will get RFE for W2, too... We are pretty sure we didn't send it with our application. Bummer.

Thanks. After reading your post yesterday we decided to prepare everything for the RFE just in case... So the copies are ready. Hopefully we won't need them though, we will see....
