Hi All,

I'm glad to have have found this thread!

Here is our timeline so far:

04/18/08 - Fedexed AOS/EAD/AP applications

04/21/08 - Package received at USCIS Chicago (got Fedex signature)

... Nothing else so far! (checks not checked...)

Any other late April fillers out there?

NOAs (I-130, I-131, I-765): received at home 06/06/2008, notice date: 06/03/2008

Rejected Application:

Mailed: 18th Arpil 2008

Received at USCIS Chicago: 21st April 2008

[Nothing in between]

Complete rejected application returned to me: 27th May 2008 (delivery date)

*Rejected because hubby signed under "preparer" rather than "applicant" in I-130

Aug 08-PREGNANT! Jan 09 -UPDATE! It's A BOY!

MAy 17 09 - Baby James Anthony born!!

I-129f was approved in 131 days from filing date.

Iinterview took 197 days from I-129F filing date.

By the way, I can now view my case number online (MSC**********) that is after my biometrics yesterday! Wooohooooo!!! :dance: (But not yet for I-131)

So to all waiting for their case status online.. wait til you finish your biometrics then check it again! :thumbs:

Got our NOA for AOS and AP in the mail today. None for EAD so far. Check has not been cashed. I put the receipt number into CRIS on USCIS website, but the receipt number is not recognized.

We sent off our AOS paperwork yesterday. Now we wait...

Hey - I know you from the LJ Wedding plans forum :) (I'm 'Jonesnessl' over there) Nice to see familiar faces!

Looks like we'll be on the same track now - we got married on the 18th (courthouse) & sent our AOS in on the 25th :)

It's a small world afterall! :D

Reminder to oneself - "BE PATIENT"

I was hoping to hear today that the certified bank check was cashed yet. It hasn't been. :( It has only been a week. Just must breath. BREATH. It will happen. ;)

That was my lil bit of impatient venting. Hehehee. I guess after the long process of I-129 and the like I have become a bit impatient and want things now. LOL

I know what you mean, I keep checking my bank account online every 5 minutes to see if its been cashed.

Do the checks have to be cashed in order to receive the NOA?

I am still waiting for my checks to be cashed, too. I feel better knowing that it is not only my case, but you guys are waiting for the first news as well. I hear it may even take a month or longer for USCIS to cash your checks and send NOA.

Yeah, seems like online after biometrics is the standard, so I'm wondering if I'm wrong... But I can see all 3 case number on the CRIS site, it's true. Things are improved there....? :innocent:
