helllo.......i get approved october 6th, and i get my greend card in the mail a week ago.....i'm so happy....thankseverybody for all the support and i hope to talk to be back in two years to remove my conditions.....i did not need to do interview...and that was great.....thanks....

[/size]AOS interview today, we were approved. YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The lady in Sacramento, CA was very nice asked my wife for all her info name, SSN, address, and also questions about me. Like my birthday and full name. Also asked how we met and when we got married. Asked to see pictures of the wedding and documents showing joint items, lease agreement, bank accounts, insurance, etc.

All and all it went great, though we did not receive a stamp. I was too happy to ask why but she said we should have the card in 2 weeks. So that's it for 1 year and 9 months. Thanks to everyone out there you've all made this journey less daunting and I thank you.

We just returned from our interview in Los Angeles. The verdict...(drum roll please) APPROVED!

We got there about an hour early and were told to return at our appointment time. We killed some time in the lobby and went back at 1pm. The guard took our interview letter and told us to sit. About an hour and a half later, they called our name.

We accompanied the interviewer to her office. She asked us for drivers licenses, passports, birth certificates, and marriage license. After checking all these documents she made some copies and went through the rest of our paperwork. She asked some of the same questions that are on the application such as "have you ever been arrested". We talked about our wedding and how we met. Then she asked us for any other documents and we gave her bank statements, insurance, etc. She took our photo albums and made some copies of those as well.

Then she came back and said we we were approved. Just like that!

We didn't get a stamp in the passport. The card should come in the next two weeks. We did get a letter confirming the approval, though.

Thanks so much to VJ as this would have been a much harder experience without everyone's help and support!
