We had our interview on October 23rd and were approved. I posted a review; the Officer was nice and interview lasted 10 mins. He didn't ask anything outside the info we'd already sent in. We brought tons of documents and photos etc. but he did not ask for anything other than our ID's and the notices for the employment authorization and the advance parole.

I'm so USCIS'd out :lol: I haven't even begun preparing for the interview lol. I've got everything in a box dreading to start. I will later.

I'll definitely post the outcome.

So me and the missus pulled it together. We're going over the G325's to make sure the information we got can come second nature (and we don't blank out on the interview questions), practicing the worst questions we think they can ask and answers to the common ones. Of course it shouldn't sound like you practiced but I figure it's better to get a right answer that possibly sounds rehearsed than a wrong one.

I got a joint sponsor just in case they don't accept our updated I-864, should they ask (I'm sponsoring myself as I make enough and the wife is also a student).

As evidence, I originally sent in:

Our lease

Bank statement & check

Furniture receipt for stuff we bought when we moved

Receipts for matching tattoos we got after our wedding

About 12 Pictures throughout our relationship and at our wedding

Copies of our insurance cards (medical and dental). They're expired now but was good when I sent them in with the I485.

Bills (not with both our names but coming to the same address, might count for something)

Since I sent all that in I don't really have much else to show lol, just more copies of them and the originals. So on top of all that I only have more pics and my life insurance with her listed as beneficiary now (immigrant has life insurance and USC doesn't lol).

We're both nervous but at least it's gonna be over. Wish us luck. Good or bad I'll let you all know, the other reviews were extremely helpful.

Good luck Heliosphan! i have my interview today too!!! a little nervous but think we are ok! we have tons of photos, cards, a storage unit lease with both our names on it, joint bank accounts and credit cards. The only thing that worries me is we are missing 2 things from our original package, a letter from my dad about our relationship and a letter from D's mom about his name change. His mom sent a new one so fingers crossed! oh and we printed out all the forms 1485, i130, g325a, etc. with all the info in it. .. but never made copies of the signed ones? is that a huge deal! god i hope not there is nothing we can do about it now!!

David and I met online December of 2006 and spent a year getting to know each other online and with visits! He proposed to me July 2007 onstage at my Favorite bands (candlebox) concert in Florida .We found out we were expecting a child January 31st sadly due to an ectopic pregnancy we lost the baby and almost lost me as well on February 8th. We then decided to get married if my long and drawn out divorce finalized before David was due to go back on April 13th

Divorced finalized March 20th

3/30/2008 MARRIED !!!!

4/11/2008 I 130 , I 485, 1765 and I131 Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

4/21/2008 first NOA for everything

5/17/2008 RFE for Affidavit of support

5/20/2008 mailed in response to RFE

5/22/2008 Biometrics

6/10/2008 EAD Card production ordered!!!!

6/10/2008 I131 Approved YAY we can visit England again!! (nobody from there could make our short notice wedding)

Good Luck on your interviews.

Called UCIS about our case and we can do a service request after November 1st, 2008. The case will be out of status at that time.
