Congrats Asolana, That is awesome news

Well I received a letter in response to my Service Request on the 30th of Sept; it says nothing except that my case us resumed and I should receive a decision or response within 60 days of the letter. :(

MAY 6 2008 ( Day 1) - Notice USCIS received MAY 10 2008 (Day 4) -Rec'd all 4 NOA's & Status of all 4 online

MAY 12 2008 (Day 6) - Received Biometrics letter MAY 14 2008 (Day 8) - Biometrics done early.

OCTOBER 22 2008 (DAY 170)- I-765:Card Production Ordered/I-131: Approval notice sent

OCTOBER 27 2008 (Day 175)- AP Received

OCTOBER 30 2008 (Day 178)- EAD Approval Notice Sent OCTOBER 31 2008 (Day 179)- EAD Received

NOVEMBER 4 2008- Applied for SSN / NOVEMBER 24 2008- SSN Received

JANUARY 15 2009- INTERVIEW-APPROVED!!

JANUARY 31 2009- GC RECEIVED_No more USCIS for 10 Months[/color]

Today I received my green card in the mail, I feel so happy and relieved, it was a long time to get it, I hope everybody will get theirs very very soon too!!!

Congrats asolana! Now you are officially done with USCIS for some time :)

Hi Everyone! Sorry I havent been around in a while... life is busy...

Is anyone who submitted AOS in April and whose case was transferred to California still waiting on your AOS approval?

I am just wondering if I should start being concerned since our case has been there since June and no touches or anything on it since then....

Steph, I also recently addressed a RFE letter. I am curious to know what was requested each time for you. For me, I had to submit additional details of the tax returns, the summary from Turbo Tax was not enough. Anyway, share whatever you feel comfortable. Thank you!

My last touch was 4/22 :(. Not a word since then.

2-22-08 - I-485 rev'd

2-27-08 - NOA1

3-17-09 - Transferred to Cali.

4-12-08 - Biometrics

4-22-08 - Touch

4-28-08 - EAD received.

...waiting...

3-04-09 - Had to renew the EAD :(

3-04-09 - Got annoyed at being outside of the processing window

3-04-09 - Called and they confirmed. Will contact me within 45 days.

3-05-09 - Date on the EAD NOA1

3-12-09 - Received a confirmation email that I am outside of the window and will get a decision in 60 days.

3-12-09 - TOUCH!!!

3-27-09 - Touch!

5-09-09 - Randomly received the renewed EAD Card... w/ wrong A# :(.

Did we all just fall off the face of USCIS..Things were moving there for a bit!

So i made a service request on the 30th of September 30th, and nothing. SOOOO, I have made another INFOPASS appoinment for next week and will ask for the Interim EAD even though I know they don't give them out. I have nothing else to do, I would just make an infopass every day till I get my interview letter.. LOL

Nope, it's free. Have you tried calling them? What is your local office? You can check their processing times and see if you are behind. Good luck!

Nope, it's free. Have you tried calling them? What is your local office? You can check their processing times and see if you are behind. Good luck!

got the interview notice today scheduled for 11/21/08....it's in boston ...exactly 6 months since i filed the I-485.....thanks ella.....for those of you who still waiting ...hang in there...it ll be there soon...i would give it 6 month.....

Steph, hang in there....I know it must be driving you nuts just waiting for the EAD. I don't think it's nice that it takes that long.....then once u get the EAD, u again have to wait til u actually get hired.....*sighs* I hope you'll get your surprise in the mail really soon :)

Please everyone, include us in your prayers for our interview is tomorrow. I am excited to get this over and done with but at the same time anxious and nervous. Trying to organize everything we have gathered for the 6 months I've been here. Hopefully everything goes well. Will keep you posted as to how the interview goes.
