Hello there, I'm a K-1 visa holder, let me join in this thread :)

I sent AOS+AP+EAD package yesterday and it was delivered today. :thumbs:

While I prepared applications, I noticed I-765/I-693 forms were updated on USCIS web site in this month, and the old versions are valid only until May 8/May 1. :blink: My civil surgeon gave me the old form, woo, just be in time :wacko:

Be careful, everyone! B)

I saw some people were wondering if they should attach explanation sheet for AP... I searched old topics and went through carefully I-131 instruction. I got the same answers. We don't need it :) It says;

If you are applying for a:

C. Advance Parole Document

1. If you are in the United States, you must attach:

a. A copy of any document issued to you by USCIS showing your present status in the United States; and

b. An explanation or other evidence showing the circumstances that warrant issuance of an advance parole document; or

c. If you are an applicant for adjustment of status, a copy of a USCIS receipt as evidence that you filed the adjustment application;

(I omit d. )

We have to submit a copy of I-129F approval notice as <a>, and <b> or <c>. If you are applying AP with I-485, it obviously means <c>. I wrote that I sent AP and AOS together on the cover letter. I think that's enough..... :star:

Waiting game started....

On the I 94 we only wrote his FIRST(given) name because it doesn't specify to write the MIDDLE NAME also. So what should we fill out for this question?

"GIVE YOUR NAME EXACTLY AS IT APPEARS ON YOUR ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE RECORD (I-94)"

Should we just put his first name and last name without the middle name? How did you guys proceed? :blink:

Hello...

I am going to send the AOS package today!! :)

I am just with some doubt about this 2 passport pictures (actually 6, for AOS, EAD and AP of course)...

I read that is for us to put the pictures in a plastic bag and attach this pics to a white sheet.

Any little plastic bag is ok? and...can I attach this plastic bag with a clip in the form G325a for AOS, and in the respectives forms for EAD and AP? Or need to be stapled?

I really want to send in a way that let they "happy"

Hi!!! We are trying to complete all the documents needed so that we could send the AOS by the end of this month. We got married last January2008 (yes, its been 4 months before we finally decide to send the AOS) in California and now living here in Alabama.

We went to a clinic here to get the 2nd dose of vaccination and the certificate signed by a Civil Surgeon since my Medical exam in the Philippines is still not over a year. The clinic did not accommodate our request and asking for a proof of my medical exam. We only have the vaccination worksheet and xray film on hand and they didn't accept it as a proof. What they want is a whole new medical examination done in their clinic. rip off!

Since some of the filers here were able to get their AOS done without the certificate of vaccination, that's what we're going to do now. Im so BORED here at home doing nothing for 4months now... we need help so bad.

Question:

1. Anybody knows a civil surgeon?

2. Is it possible for me to apply for a SSN while still waiting for the AOS?

Thank you so much.............SPREAD THE LOVE!!!
