Interview (Frankfurt) and flight to US

so I have a little dilemma. my fiance is having his interview on May 23rd in Frankfurt. in the appointment letter it said that it takes 3-5 business days to process the actually visa in his passport. well he had to reschedule his flight from when he previously went back to Germany. (it was a great deal so he booked a round trip that was returnig to early)he booked his new flight for June 3rd. he then realized that they have two holidays in between so it only gives us 7 business days to receive the visa before he has to leave. my questions is do you think that if he asked the embassy would be nice enough to speed up his visa processing or if its possible to request an earlier interview date if there happens to be a last minute cancellation or something. I am getting really nervous and worried that we arent gonna get the visa in time and have to spend more money to reschedule again!! i am not sure if anyone has been in a similar situation and can give me some advice or if anyone who has gone through Frankfurt could tell me if you think they would help us!! Thanks so much and any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

To be safe, you should reschedule your visa appointment for next week. If not, I read a few post were the visa was issued within 4 days. GOOD LUCK!!!

Can you reschedule an appointment??? i didn't think that you could do that? that would be great if i could!!!have you done this before??

How far from Frankfurt does your fiance live? He can also pick it up himself.

I had my interview on a Monday and was allowed to pick my passport up on Wednesday afternoon. I flew out Friday (with my fiance, who was there with me for the interview) and it would have been too tight to have it send by mail, also.

We didn't even think about plane tickets until after the interview. Of course, Manila is probably a little more volatile than Frankfurt! Good luck
