Hi, I am one of the July filers. It's almost 3months since the packet left NVC. I wrote an email to Guangzhou consulate but the response is really disappointed, just like formal information on the web site saying it will take a few months.

The phone number is always busy!

So I hope someone can tell me how to contact them from US?

Thanks so much.

Well, the best way to contact them is by email. The pay phone number is useless. It's a service they use in Shanghai.

If you want to know the status of your case at any moment, call the Dept. of State Visa Info line. Here's my log of calls during my wife's K3 process which from NVC to visa issue is identical to the K3 process.

DOS 202.663.1225, then use menu selections 1-0-0

Here's what I was told by an immigration attorney: "Imagine shipping pallets stacked with paper. One or more of those pallets come in every day for GUZ. The "Still in customs" means that the pallet of papers are sitting in the warehouse and someone needs to log each of the applications .... after they have pulled them off the pallet."
