No, that's a fact. There are millions more "Christians" than there are Muslims. Christians have historically proven themselves to be very good at exterminating people, cultures, continents that don't agree with them. Of course, Muslims were pretty good at that, too.... Still, the Xians have the numbers, so I'd agree that they could Crusade the ####### out of you.

I still want to know what "We're getting there," means, and not just from someone who despises religion in general.

Only OP can answer that. Perhaps, the OP meant that Muslims will outnumber the whole Christian population including Catholics. It is not a big deal who is outnumbering who. This article that Muslims has outnumbered Catholics was published by the Vatican.

Another note, the word 'jihad' does not mean war, it means 'internal struggle.'

I can't speak for the OP, but when I first read it I pictured in my mind that what the intention was is that the statement "We are getting there" had nothing to do with domination, but rather in educating people in Islam. But again, that was just how I read it, she would have to speak for herself.

About the word 'jihad' I really wish someone who is fluent in Arabic can clarify more about its meaning, all I know is, it means 'internal struggle.' Now, if one wants to claim it means 'holy war,' it has to be backed up from the language.

A word's meaning is not determined by etymology alone, but also by its use in context and actual practice. I don't think the first Muslims were just sitting in their homes engaging in peaceful internal struggles. "Internal struggle" may be one meaning of jihad, but to say it does not also mean war against others ignores history.

As for the "We are getting there" bit, I saw nothing about educating people in the OP, it just followed the statement that Muslims are more numerous than Catholics; I can only conclude it is about winning numerically.

I read recently that millions of Catholics are leaving the religion for other forms of Christianity. So that number would make sense. I can't find the exact article but here's a decent one anyway.
