Packet 3 to interview date in MTL

Does anyone have a recent experience sending back their packet 3, and how long from there the interview date is in Montreal? I already got my packet 3, faster than expected. I am going to Disneyworld in June, so I didn't want my interview until I get back from Disney, or else I won't be able to go I was hoping for an end-June date... So not sure when to send back packet 3... unless I can request my date to be after June 15, do they allow that? My NOA2 expires on July 8.

All I can suggest is to try looking looking up the info in the Immigration Timelines and see what that shows. I am sure others will be by that have recent Montreal experience. Good luck, and have fun at Disney.

Looks like recently it's taking just under 2 months to get an interview date.

You could delay in sending back in package 3 until almost May if you wanted to make sure you don't get an interview date until late June like you want.

We sent ours back at the end of Feb. At that time MTL told us approx 4 months until we would get an interview. With other time lines and what MTL has said (and havn't said) we are expecting to have our interview in June. We are in the same boat, we'd love a late July interview - but we dont control the dates

Yeah unfortunately with MTL there is just no way to be sure. They are saying something like 4 months -- not to me directly; they won't answer my emails -- but as others and the spreadsheet point out, for some it's taking about 2 months.

But as for your NOA2 expiring, that isn't a worry. You can get it extended. So if it's really important that you not get a date before mid-June, I'd wait on sending your P3 back. But just keep in mind that doesn't mean you'll get a July date. Could be August or September or who knows with them.

I strongly want to believe that jonandmary (you guyz are the first waiting for a date) will get their date in approx 10 days and their interview perhaps end of april.

Also personnaly, i would LOVE an interview tomorrow because as my situation right now my life is on hold...

i am recently out from school (went back to get some kind of specialisation last year) and wonder between looking for a job for one month, 2, 3 ?

note : when you send an email to montreal, be sure to receive their automatic answer stating they received your email. Or else it might get lost ! (happened to me once)

I hope we start seeing interview dates for those waiting for May (or even optimistically end of April as you said!). That would be great and would give us a lot of hope.

I would also LOVE an interview tomorrow! Not because my job is on hold or anything, but I certainly feel like everything else in my life is. How are we supposed to plan for anything this way?!

I really wish Montreal would respond to my emails (with more than the auto-response).

That sucks.

Have you been calling or emailing the consulate or DOS?

Part of me hopes that your interview letter just went missing and you'll be one of those people that find out with only like a week in advance. Not that I hope you guys have to scramble, but it would mean the wait times would still be on the shorter side.

All of us on the list are watching you and hoping your interview date comes ASAP!

They haven't acknowledged mine, I sent it last week. I called today.

I was expecting it to be this way. They take forever to open things.
