is it necessary lets say if my fiance only includes 3-5pics as proof of evidence then my interview comes i showed another pics aside fr those on the packet would that be okay? wud there be any questions asking why showed only now those pictures ? also the instructions on passport days at least 6months valid fr the time the visa was issued , what if i already have a passport since 2003 and expiration is 2008 can i use this or what should i do next? help me please thanks am just quite nervous my interview would be on May 22, 2006 thanks :help:

No need to worry about your passport! It's got at least 18 months left on it and that's a lot more than six :) But if you are really worried, then renew your passport now and take the new one for your interview - that way you won't have to worry about it expiring once you move to the US.

As for pictures, my interviewer never asked to see ANY. They don't really need to see a thousand photos as evidence - they're just a part of the picture.

Well for the most part you'd just want to include photos of you and your fiancé together and then describe under the circumstances to which you have met. Save the other stuff for the interview. Good luck

I am quoting this one, but in reference to your previous posts containing past posts, not one of those is saying sending in a truck load of proof of the relationship when submitting the petition is beneficial.

Look at the amount of RFE's that VJ members have been getting over the past many months even when supposedly submitting x amount....look at the amount that are under reviews at SC level and they aren't just ones from high fraud countries. Submitting evidence of the relationship could create a whole different picture in the adjudicators mind and I believe it is just as irrisponsible to have such information in the Guides that is contrary to what is in the instructions for the forms when even just one member is affected by it. IF there are embassy's where it would be of benefit then I believe that information can then be given them seperate to the Guides. It seems at times that a petitioner is putting more focus on submitting proving the relationship as opposed to ensuring that they have strong complete evidence of the 2 year requirement of having met and evidence to show they intend to marry which is required with the I-129F.

We share the same point of view here then!

When I sent our I-129F in I included pics taken over the last 2 years. I made sure to include pics of Luz's son in there because it is easy to see that he changed a lot from age 13 to age 15. As a kicker I made sure I had at least one pic of Luz and I showing my tattoo with her name on it. That should show at least MY strong intent to get married. :D

I just submitted my I-129F packet. I enclosed a mound of evidence, including color copies of letters with envelopes/stamps, phone bills, calling card account with call detail, chat logs, screen captures of chat and Skype sessions, emails, text messages. All told I probably had 50 pages of evidence. Now I'm worried -- do you think it will look too "staged" with all of that? Did I go overboard?

Thanks in advance folks.

I think it is always better to have "too much" info as compared to "not enough"! Our packet was submitted in a notebook binder, with plastic cover sheets for easy handling, complete with detailed cover sheet, photos with descriptions and dates on back,,,etc. I also went ahead and notarized my letter of intent, all financial Doc's, tax returns, phone bill records, and copies of my airline tickets and hotel receipts! On the last page I even included several extra "passport style" photos of both of us, just in case they might be needed!

Good Luck!

The more you submit the longer it will take for the Officer to evaluate your case.By law everthing that they receive HAS to be examend.I am not saying that anyone would do this but,the heavyer the packet the more it may "sink"on the desk. But do what you think is right for you.We only included 6 photos, some flight info in country and back and forth to US, a few letters and 2 months of phone card records.Good Luck
