it is funny that most women with straight hair want curly hair and most women with curly hair want straight hair

So true. The problem is that frizzy hair is quite unmanageble. I have wave...........in one 3 inch circle in the back of my head and on the temples, the rest is straight. I don't want the frizzy hair, but the ones with nice big curls all over are the ones I am jealous of. With that you can either do it curly or blow dry it straight with a round brush.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

In the 80's, when everybody had the feathered farrah faucet 'doo' going on, it was He!! Now, it's great. Takes all of 10 minutes to get ready!

Dead straight and baby fine hair here. You gals are so lucky.

Me too *sigh*

The other day I had my hair in rollers for three hours AND I used hair spray. I managed to get some really lovely voluminous curls and was feeling rather pleased until I stepped outside. Five minutes in the wind and they were all gone. :crying:

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. My hair dresser says you should not put your hands in your hair when you are doing it curly. That's what makes it frizzy. He says the less you touch it the better. The reason it gets frizzy is because all the hairs separate. If you don't touch it and run your hands through it the hairs stay, for the lack of a better word, clumped together. Mine is never frizzy when I do it curly.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Curls Rock by catwalk !

A little dab will do ya! ;) If you want to dry it, hang upside down and use a diffusser. Scrunch...don't 'play'! A little paste around the edges to keep it out of my face.

My hair with curls rock...

Even after a long day...

That's what works for me!

I totally agree with not touching it. I've had to train my hairdresser not to touch after she cuts it. When it gets too tangly I use a wide tooth comb to get through it but if I can manage it, I use my fingers. I think I just look silly with it straight so I don't even bother but my daughter does like to straighten hers. Only takes her about 10 minutes with a ceramic straightner. Maybe when she's running her own kids around she'll shake n go!
