I have very thick, long, naturally curly hair and I can only bring myself to straighten it once a week because it takes me over an hour to do it and then it's still kinda frizzy. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have any amazing frizz control products that work wonders? Suggestions?

I have long, curly, crazy hair.

Ever heard of Lush in the UK?

I used The Blonde Solid Shampoo.

I use Coolaulin conditioner. After I've rinsed it out, I take some jungle (solid conditioner) that I keep melted in hot water in a spray bottle in my shower, spray it on, and then leave it in.

Best hair I have ever had.

No Lush in Indiana, though. You'd have to go to Illinois or Missouri to get some. Or mail order. If you found a store near enough to drive to, they would give you some free samples to try and see if it would work for you.

I tried to shop at Lush when I lived in England and the smell when I walked in almost killed me. Too scented!!!! Maybe I will ask my MIL to get me some samples. She loves me giving her things to do because it gives her something to talk to people about other than her cats.

I feel your pain! Frizz Ease Products from John Frieda work best for me. The hair serum is awsome. I also like the styling products from that line, like the mousse.

Also, my curls are very dry, so I use Pantene "for women of color" as a conditioner, that makes them super soft!

oooh good suggestion. I might just try that. I'm going on a hair supply shopping spree tomorrow!

You would get along with my husband. He says that all the time.

I used Redken Outshine in the past. It works pretty well. I put in on wet hair after I was done with everything else. It runs around $15 and I got it from my hairdresser.

I just started using Dream Drops by S Factor (a TIGI product) and love it so far. I've never had any luck with the John Frieda products, but that could just be me!
