Couples who pray together, stay together?

I plan to do that when we are here together even if we're different religions. My spouse calls me everyday and only couple of times has he initiated to pray together. That inspired me greatly for this post it's what puts respect in the marriage. I wanted to share that advice with everyone else. I think praying together and about SPECIFIC things we want in our marriage will make us stronger as a couple. It will remind us God's watching and he's here to make everything right if we ask and allow him to. Has anyone else thought of doing this or did? Did it actually strengthen the marriage?

Wisely put. I would say that more than praying together, Bren and I have come to know each other's conception of God; and we share our spirituality freely in our home and with our families. We are non-denominational, but all about spiritual growth and being closer to God.

Thank you for this advice. I will consider mentioning that to my Husband next time. This process has certainly brought me closer to God.

Broken families and huge family problems were everywhere, it's a great practice that both husband and wife were working together to build their own personal relationship to God.
