I figure tomorrow is my last day here so...

Time-wise... I'm thinking maybe about 5pm or thereabouts - enough time to finish my medical and get a shower/change or something - maybe get some eats and drinks?

Maybe Poiteen has some suggestions as well? I know StP is trying to rearrange another prior engagement

Just emailed a friend in London, said "Where would you go for a cheap but good bite in Bayswater?" He recommended Bodean's in Westbourne Grove, about a 5 minute walk from Jeraly's hotel. They have a "Beat the Clock" special Tues-Fri, so the amount you pay is equal to the time you order -- if you order at 5.30, it costs £5.30, at 7.15 it costs £7.15 etc. It's "American" (whatever that means) so an apt cuisine? It starts at 5.30pm though, so how about we meet for a pint beforehand (oh no, now I have to find a pub, too!)?

Oooh - that sounds cool!! And a pub beforehand sounds great as well! I could prolly use to sink a few to calm my nerves about my interview!! I am just going to pretend it will be like my non legal wedding... kinda... I mean I want the nerves (well I don't but let's be realistic here) but the sense that I am finally doing it will be awesome...

Don't want to blub the whole way through, sweat like a pig or shake though... they might deny me on the grounds that I look like a freak!!

Bodeans has the best burgers in all of London. There's one in Soho too. I never really know when I finish work, so I'm gonna try and finish a little early on Tuesday, but realistically I don't know if I could be in Bayswater by 6, but I can try.

Meet 4.30 at the John Snow, 39 Broadwick St, London W1F 9QP. I'm the very, very short (4'11") woman with waist-length dark brown hair, and I'll probably be reading either the Economist or Heat or fiddling with my Blackberry. I'll try to be downstairs. We'll see where the evening takes us! And yes, I will be able to discuss Zimbabwe or Britney as you desire.

Tuesday 8 April UK VJ London pre-Jeraly's Interview Meet-Up

Meet 5pm at the Prince Edward pub*, 73 Princes Square, Bayswater, London W2 4NY. 6.00pm we move on to Bodean's, which is located at 57 Westbourne Grove, London W2 4UA. I have made a reservation for 5 of us -- Jeraly and her mum, me, Poiteen (when she can get there) and an extra place for someone else (maybe StP will have changed her plans!). If you arrive after 6pm, the table is booked in my name.**
