Is it just me, or has there been a sudden silence with regards to NOA2's?

We have been approved already, but I still like to share in the joy of others.

Where are all the approvals?

Have I missed something? :blink:

Here's hoping things start to move again for all of those waiting!

I dunno but hoping here in April the USCIS starts HOPPING along on these things!!! I want approvallllllssssss haaha!

I work all day in front of a computer and I habitually check USCIS and VJ and I have noticed as well the lack of NOA2's.

A totally unreliable theory is that the end of the month maybe they have quotas or ratios they have to maintain and other visas are getting a look. Perhaps everyone is busy preparing thier taxes and still stuporfied by all the chocolate they consumed recently.

Everyone are baseball fans and have been too busy doing fantasy baseball drafts and watching the games (oh wait that was just me)

The ceasefire in Iraq was mistaken as a lull in work by the USCIS

Lots of watercooler talk cause no-one really knew who was going to be voted off American Idol last week

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

Here is my theory... it either has to do with 4/1 is when HB1 Visas open up for business to submit (about 125,000 of them last year I believe) or it has to do with all the candidates getting there passports breached by a couple of employees which were for the contractors hired for the backlog (that whole scandal last week). I hope i'm wrong and things just start hoping again

Here's my theory...they're slowing down so that they'll be the underdog and next week they'll approve like 50 cases and it will be that much more dramatic a win because we all thought they were down for the count!!

I was affraid the 4/01 H1b petitions might affect ours... :unsure:

I am hoping USCIS employees will know how to share their workload so we are not left aside...

doesn't look like they are slowing down...

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

Um...I haven't seen anyone really complain in here. Not to mention that the OP (Roselinda) already has her NoA2. She's not waiting for that. She's just commented on the lack of 'I've been approved!' threads which I agree have been few and far between lately (although people are still being approved, just not posting about it).

I'm not really sure that I appreciate a rolleyes from someone who hasn't had to wait so long, either.

My theory is basically that there is hundreds, thousands maybe, of applications that they have to look at... only a small portion of them is listed with this website so sometimes it looks fast, sometimes it looks slow... in the end we will get there tho... don't let your mind go crazy of the numbers shown here or there :)

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!
