So my case has been pending for about 2.5 months and I am getting a little anxious that there has been apparently no action on it whatsoever. I was just wondering, do they alway record "touches" everytime the look at it and have that change of status available on the USCIS website, or is it possible that one day I check and it is just approved with no "Touches" recorded.

We got our NAO1 on January 16, I am planning on going down to Brazil to visit my fiance over the 4th of July and I would love it if she could come back up with me, but I am starting to think that is not going to happen. Oh if I could have only filed in Vermont!!!! :crying:

Hey there!

If you check my timeline you will see that we were only touched twice and that was the week prior to receiving our NOA2.

Two and a half months is really not a long time to be waiting to be touched. In the USCIS case anyway! :D

We got our NOA1 way back in October and were approved just over a week ago, so unfortunately, you may still have quite a long wait with regards to being 'touched'.

Just don't dwell on it. Keep checking the timelines on here, they helped me alot, and watching our case move up and up Igor's list was a blessing.

Hang in there!

Right, checking Igor's list is like a main "mustdo" for each day.

It helps alot.

I don't know who it is, but "thank you,Igor"

My official "cut & paste" answer regarding "touching"...

"Touching" is meaningless and no big deal. Some petitions get 'touched" and others never do. It only indicates someone had your petition in their hands and scanned it into on the database. Other than proving your petition is not in the trash, it is nothing to get excited over. What truly counts are NOAs (yeah!) and RFEs (Boo!) :)
