Form DS-157

Hi!

I've read in another topic that form DS-157 was also supposed to be filled by males aged between 16 to 45.

This form DS-157 was never mentionned in the packet 3 that I received from the Montreal embassy....so I didn't return it with my forms DS-156 and DS-230....

Does anyone know if it's gonna be a problem or will I be able to fill it out on the day of the interview?

hmmm just cheked it out.. military thing.......

check the letter in your packet 3 about additionnal evidence to see if they talk about it....

you can also send them an email and ask them.

The only thing mentionned in packet 3 in relation to military service is in the checklist "Military Record: If you have served in the armed services of any nation, obtain certified copy of your military record."

Nothing specifically written about a DS-157 form....

You could probably fill it out at your interview if you didn't return it to them. Or fill it out and bring it. I have seen other threads from VJ'ers in other areas of this site, who had to fill it in when they went for their social security card while in the US.
