Sounds like things have gone smoothly, except for the weather.

When you find my weather machine - I have misplaced it - please do use it and then return it.

We will be driving from Chicago to Santa Rosa Beach, FL on Monday or so.

It is basically a straight and boring line.

I'd rather do it when warm and on two wheels. Ha!

Take the back roads, you know? B)

Your trip is far longer and more interesting.

Maybe you don't want to hurry too much and enjoy what there is to see along the way.

Awww. I hate that empty-house feeling. I'm glad you had a good night, though, and that the worst of it is all behind you. Now onto new adventures! Let us know when you're leaving, Trailmix. We'll be thinking of you.

Sorry to hear of the crappy weather, I bet you wish you were on the road though. You seem to be making out quite fine with the little bit of furniture and of course the laptop and I can't wait to hear of all your adventures during your trip to your new home.

Anyway, I am sitting on a lawn chair, my monitor is on a file cabinet that we are leaving here, mouse and keyboard are on my lap (computer mouse). Husband is next to me, sitting on the steps that lead to the kitchen, he is sitting in the cats bed (cat is on the window sill btw) - just trying to figure out what IR5 will comment on here haha.

Why whatever do you mean? For Hubby's sake it's a good thing that you don't have a doghouse. BTW, I hope Nutmix is wearing his Hartz collar.

I know the folly of travelling in the face of inclement weather, but doing things despite all reason is the very definition of manhood.

Please, wait until the roads are clear and take it easy!

Taking the road less travelled on a Goldwing or an Electra Glide is the only way to fly.

After fighting blizzards and adverse road conditions, Ladee Heather reporting continues...

Sources at the No-Tell-Motel have updated this correspondent that certain grumbly and moany noises permeated the establishment ; said to come from Room 69, into which a woman, a man and a cat registered under the name "Mr. and Mrs. Florida or Bust". It is said that a few motel guests complained of bumping headboards and dirty talk about air mattresses.

I tried to stake out said motel in order to bring you perhaps a video testimony ; but was confused with a sex-worker and hauled to the slammer --- from where Mumsie promptly rescued me (hi bro!).

Will continue my reports later, after I recover from the shock of spending the night in jail amongst future recruits of the Ladee Heather School of Obedience; their former pimps, and 3 to 4 drunkards.

It wasn't too hard to spring you, I just told them about the hot chocolate incident, the St. Patrick's day fiasco, the matter in the confessional and a few other things that my dear sister orchestrated and that years of psychotherapy have cured me of. All the police officers were very sympathetic but for some reason the police chief wanted to hire you.
