May 2nd. Gonna need the money....I'm sending Mags back to England.

Yeah, Mags and I are splitting up. She can't take the US any longer - no rights for workers, no vacation time, no insurance....

Plus, we just haven't been getting along. She nags far too much, and I'm basically a lazy slob. So, in June she's going back to England.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Wow. This stimulus thing is really stupid. What's it going to get us, groceries for a month? Probably not even.

If you shop at Whole Foods, it won't even get you groceries for a day. :crying:

You may be able to buy a snack with it.

I think Alex mentioned that they spent abut 30 dollars a day on groceries.. that is a lot...

and you only get 1200 if you make more then 100,000 dollars a year.. other wise for a couple you would only get 600 bucks...

Actually... any married couple with a net income tax liability of $1200 will get $1200.

And yeah, $30 a day is insane. We spend around $400-500 a month.

$600 is the minimum for qualifying married couples filing jointly, according to that IRS site.... I'm guessing you have a very small net income tax liability?

Has anyone actually wondered how is the government going to pay for this considering they have no money and are borrowing it from abroad..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

You just answered your own question - by borrowing it from abroad.
