She's a new nurse in the Philippines, and is planning to work in Shanghai for a couple of months during

the K1 process. Is this possible? I know she's got to be in PI for

her interview. She's trying to earn some extra money and become more independent before she moves

here to New York. She's also studying for the New York State nursing exam.

Any advice would be appreciated, Mike

Applying for a visa does not handcuff you to your country or restrict you from living your life.... If she resides outside over the prescribe requirement then she will probably need a PC from there.

YMMV

I'd imagine it would depend on how long she's there for.

As far as studying for her NYS nursing exam - good for her
