I was talking to my husband about what he'll be packing and aside from things I requested like Leb and these sweet stick things that my oldest daughter likes, along with clothes, he's packing his pillow (which I'm going to steal 'cause it's AWESOME  ) and........................his spoon.

I assured him that we have plenty of silverware at the house but he is adamant that he eats with this spoon every day. lol Whatever makes him feel comfy I guess. Did your SO bring something you found a wee bit...odd?

He brought his coffee mug. I have more mugs than I could ever want and he brings this old Nescafe yucky mug. It's OK though, I guess he loves it. That's what I kept telling myself. One day he tells me he has no idea why he brought that mug. Sigh. But of course I cannot get rid of it. That would be like WWIII.

None of my posts have ever been helpful. Be forewarned.

My husband also brought an article of clothing that he never wears here. In fact, he looked at it a few months after he arrived and laughed, wondering why he bothered to pack it. He also brought some linens the family has had for years. I do think having something old and familiar helps in the beginning. I'd feel the same if I moved to Morocco.

Spices!! They are so freaking expensive here, but we use cumin a lot.

The spices at the Int'l markets here are still not nearly as good as what we get in Morocco. Neither is the tea... he brought some, I've had friends send us some if they go to Morocco to visit. We will load up again when we go in the fall.
