I dunno, I think silence would have been golden in that case, if people wanted to prove a point. Boo's only fuel the man that has little of a conscience.

As for the manners, yes, even he is worthy of them.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

in the miltary they say,. salute the rank and uniform not the person///

same here.. i would not have booed him at all...he is the President of the United State of America, and for me, i would have been respectful..........

You got the right. It's also called manners.

Oh my good Lord, I'm actually in agreement with you, BY.

I agree with maviwaro as well--silence would have been a more effective way for people to show their displeasure. It wouldn't happen in a million years, tho. Americans aren't into subtlety or understatement of any kind!

I'm kinda old fashioned--I think that booing is almost always in bad form. It pisses me off that booing at sporting events has become so common. Supposed fans boo their own team's players if they have a bad game! I'd say that booing may be justified under limited circumstances (say, a pitcher intentionally throwing at a batter, or a dangerous spikes-up slide), but not because a player is having a rough streak.

I do realize that I'm turning into my dad.
