Hello Vj´ers just wanted to share my experience since I think it was a pretty unique one and I wasn´t able to find much info online about it and it kept me bitting my nails, I applied for AOS (sent in a copy of my passport and I-94 along) A month after I lost my passport along with the original I-94, I was able to get a new passport but didn´t want to pay the 300 some bucks for I-94. At the AOS interview the IO was very nice and just took my police report (along with copies I had from my passport and I-94) and she actually approved us on the spot.

Big big relief

I hope this info is useful for someone else

12/13 - Filed AOS, AP & EAD

12/14/07 - Received in Chicago Lockbox

12/19/07 - Checks cashed

12/21/07 - Received NOA´s 1 in the mail for all three apps

12/27/07 - Received appointmet for Biometrics

01/10/08 - Biometrics appointment Milwaukee

01/22/08 - AP Approved and in the mail

02/12/08 - Touch on EAD Card production orderd

02/15/08 - Touch on EAD Approval notice sent in the mail

03/10/08 - Infopass because never received EAD =/ Was told I have to re-file, re-pay fee and re-wait (LMAO)

03/13/08 - Contacted congresswoman over EAD issue

03/27/08 - AOS Interview Approved I-551 stamped on passport since EAD got lost in the mail

03/27/08 - Applied for SSN

03/31/08 - Approval Notice for I-130 and I-485 in the mail

04/05/08 - Received Green Card in the mail

04/10/08 - Received SS card in the mail

12/27/10 - Remove conditions

Thank you very much for the info. I have put my passport down in the house a few times and freaked out for a bit until I found it again, very paranoid about losing it, so good to know your experience.

K-1 journey, AOS/EAD and ROC in my timeline

2011 March 31 - Sent off Naturalization pkg overnight to Texas

2011 April 1 - Arrived in Texas at 10:21 am

2011 April 1 - NOA (rec'd via snail mail April 8)

2011 April 7 - Cheque cashed

2011 May 5 - Biometrics (letter rec'd via snail mail April 15)

2011 May 9 - Placed in line for interview scheduling

2011 June 13 - Rec'd yellow letter (no change in status online)

2011 June 23 - Rec'd text that my case has been scheduled for interview

2011 August 1 - Interview (rec'd via snail mail June 27) PASSED

2011 August 3 - Rec'd email that my case has been scheduled for Oath

2011 September 1 - Oath ceremony (rec'd snail mail Aug 5)

2011 September 1 - All done, yeah.
