Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Gotta love Target!! It's my replacement for Penney's back in Ireland :)

I'm pretty sure I've seen JC Penney's here in the US.

Yes, there are a few within a 20 mile radius of me.

Unfortunately two totally different retailers. Penney's is an English chain...I think it's called Primark in the UK and it's the bees knees for cheap and cheerful clothes! How could you go wrong paying E4 for a kick a*s belt!!

Do you have any Great Indoors near where you live? My wife loves that too and like you, she claims she's not into shopping :)

I've become Dollar Store Freak....lol.

Man, the dollar stores here in Virginia are AWESOME compared to the stuff you get in the dollar stores in Montreal! In Mtl, they sell real ####### and you get your dollar's worth and no more. But omg here they have real brand name things on the shelves! I get stuff like L'Oreal lotions and Fruit of the Loom socks for a buck! I even got my favorite Maple Leaf cookies from CANADA there for a buck! (bought 6 packages haha). Hubby teases me about it every time we pass one he puts on this hyper voice and screams "EEEEEEEEEEEE!!! A DOLLAR STORE!!! GOTTA STOPPPPP!" :D

Creep. :hehe:

I got addicted to Trader Joe's. I don't think I'll be able to move to any area that does not have Trader Joe's.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

Hmm, you're right. For some reason I thought that Penney's in Ireland was owned by the American chain JC Penney's.

oh, yeah... I was amazed what I could find at the dollar stores around here too... they are like a little market.... the one we go sells a lot of canned food, fresh produce etc.... hubby and I usually spend about 50 bucks in there even though we usually only go in to buy a couple of things :lol:

Totally agreed on the Trader Joes. We always have a plentiful supply of two buck chuck!

TJ's also has really awesome green tea with jasmine, my new favorite beverage du jour (much better than drinking the brit tea I was used to).

I am also addicted to In N Out (which is a shame as I don't live in any of the states that have it.)

Sushi

Costco (where i usually end up with a giant bag of something i didn't realise i needed)

Craigslist

The Daily Show

Burritos

American sports

New York (when I can get there)

Visiting as many US states as possible

Cherry coke. I liked it before, but I have strange cravings for it now.

Fat Tyre beer

And many more things that i'll bore you with should the thread continue.
