Has anyone here having a supplemental report in their Birth certificate? Coz if u have supplemental report in your BC, U can only get a NSO copy of it at west q.c. branch only w/ the corrected BC . so im just wondering if it's gonna make the document verification slow?

i am not sure but have heard if you have a corrected doc. it slows things down with doc.ver. thats why most are in the loop hole of not knowing. i could be wrong and someone will correct me. but from what i read on here it what i can come to realize. it might not be your case so dont freak out good luck

I'm worried coz everytime i get a copy of my BC that has supplemental report ,it always take like 1 weeks before I get a copy of it.. I hope the one that verifies the documents knows the cases like this.....

Because in the first name part of my BC is blank, only my middle name and last name was written. so when i tried to get a copy of my NSO BC before, i found out that my BC was only corrected in my local municipality. I had to file my supplemental report at NSO and they put the correction at the bottom of the paper... so the name part is still blank and they just put my first name at the bottom of the paper. so everytime i get a copy of NSO secpa paper BC. it always take like a week. But i don't worry about the correction because I got a passport already presenting my NSO secpa paper.. I just thought that if they verify the documents in the manila embassy, it may appear the one w/o correction. Because of what I know, the corrected Copy of my NSO BC of mine can obtain only at the main branch of NSO.

Hey sis! We're actually on the same boat! I mean I have exactly the same situation/problem as you are now, I didn't have a first name too on my original cert at the NSO so I had it corrected/supplemented too(however my birth cert from the local civil registrar where I was registered had my first name on it). So, everytime I get a copy now from the NSO(Q.C) my birth certificate is still blank but my first name is on the right side(not on the bottom like in your case) they said that's the way they correct the birth cert..all the additions/corrections are on the right side. And I have to go on the different counter too, everytime I get a birthcertificate now, that's the counter they provide for all those with birth cerfificate corrections,marriage cert corrections, etc. But the last time I went there to get another one, I finally asked the lady from the counter and told her I'm kinda wondering why after my birth certificate was corrected/supplemented...why after one year of fixing it...I still have to fall in line on that counter... and wait for like a week before they release it...she said because their system is still manual, she"s saying my corrected/supplemented birth cert is not yet on their computerized system, I even asked even after one year? She said yes! But when I finally came back there for releasing..my birthcert already have a bar code...another lady told me, with that bar code..it's already on their computerized system, so it means..next time...I can get my birth cert with annotations/supplementary on any of their NSO branches..it's just that I've been busy this past two months so..I didn't know yet if that lady was telling the truth.. I better try and get a copy from other NSO branch..like you. I'm wondering too..if that situation will cause a delay on document verification..I hope not..now that they said to me mine is on their computerized system now...hey! why don't you look at your latest birth cert too and see if there's a bar code too at the bottom of their paper. And try to get it from the other branch too. Hope we'll have a clear answer on this problem of ours, hope there's somebody here who had the same situation on their birthcert and tell us if it did slow their documents verfication process.

I also have a supplemental copy of my BC,i had it corrected year 2000,but just recently,i had a changed of name,i have just included Ma. on my first name since all my pertinent records has it,also,there was one letter error on my BC,and it took me 4 mos to get it all done.it was just recently that i got the copy of my annotated BC.when i went to the NSO East Ave.3 weeks ago to submit the finality of my change and correction of name, i asked the lady from the interviewing panel if i could get my BC on their other branches,she said those with supplemental,corrections,change of names can get their BCs only at NSO East Ave,area B.i guess with the document verification,they will know where to verify it since a remark is written on the side of our BC,so i guess if you'll pay the doc verification fee ahead of time,just like the others,no need to worry.just my opinion maybe other members can share their views regarding this matter.

You're welcome.like what i've said,you can only get your supplemental copy of your BC at NSO East Ave,if you'll go and request for your BC on their other branch,you'll just get the one that has no first name,it happened to me before.i requested for my BC,i went to vibal ofc ground floor,when they saw that it was a supplemental copy,they asked me to proceed to 4th floor and asked me to pay the fee again so i could get the supplemental one.during that time,it was at the 4th floor where u could request for your supplemental copy.now you can get it at NSO East Ave,area B.make sure you'll have a photocopy of the corrected one because they'll ask you for it together with the filled up application form plus the fee(php125).

hope this helps so you wont waste time and money.
