Affidavit of Support

It seems my fiancé is in a not so common situation and it makes me wonder what she should keep in mind when it comes to the number of household members in the Affidavit of Support I134 forms.

Her situation is like this:

She lives in a quite a big house, which is 50% her property, the other part is her moms. There are a few tenants living in the place and her mom runs a carehome on the first floor. There are also a few houses located in different locations but these are mainly for rental purposes and she only has tenants living there.

She is self employed with the home rental business and her mom is self employed with both home rentals and the carehome. She will be my sponsor, her mom may become the co-sponsor if needed.

Now we are wondering what is considered a household member... I mean, I can imagine that both my fiancé and I are the household members of her household but seeing as her mom lives downstairs (who has her own income) I don't know if she is considered household too. And what about the tenants?

So yah, I think you guys may be able to imagine that I am a bit wondering about it. Maybe I have given the answer already in this post but as I am not sure about it, I rather ask you guys too

Ask him to look at his tax returns (or you do if you have a copy) - is he filing individually - as single or as a dependent or what? That can be a reasonable place to start and then add yourself as another person being 'supported' by his household. Good Luck

thanks for your answer.. she files for herself alone so that would make a household of two then I guess, when I include myself that is
