How about HP sauce? I am in the Health Physics field and always found it funny.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Sticky toffee pudding...mmmmm....best washed down with a Guiness !

Always find myself doing that with my father in law when I am there...

...good memories... :)

But, I have to ask...Are Branston beans that good???

Tonight, I am chatting on the phone with Mr. Bruce, and he tells me he having a midnight snack of beans on a toasted softie...He then tells me that it's not Heinz beans, but Branston beans, which are just (in his words), "effing amazing"...

Are they really that "effing amazing"???

Am I the only Brit that hates those tinned puddings? One day about ten years ago I looked at the ingredients and that was it. There aint no way I'm putting that in my body again  In fact I don't eat anything that comes from a tin. I'm probably the only one here that doesn't? :P

I have been known to eat chocolate that comes from a Cadbury or Galaxy wrapper though ;)

I went to "World Market" last week and spent a fortune on a packet of 3 Walnut Whips, ate mine in the car and had to watch jealously as my wife and step-son ate theirs later in the day.

Kezzie, if you run short on Tetley, a lot of stores are now selling "Tetley British Blend". It's not quite the same as actual Tetley. But it's pretty close. :)
