Coyote, you come off as lame. :bonk:

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I am concerned about this also. My husband is from pak and he has been on AP for one month now. It's allso getting harder and harder for me too even visit him now. I made reservations in May, to visit him this November and because he lives in dangerous area we have had to change plans on where we are gonna stay 2 times now. I wonder if I will even be able to visit him next year :crying: I hope the conditions dont get any worse.

I feel for you guys really. I see Pakistan getting thinner and thinner in stability. Do you know I was in Bangladesh during my last visit with my husband and we were eating dinner when I heard about the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. It was terrible. I lost my appetite, we sat like stone for a while. Since then it has been downhill for Pakistan. I hope it does not get worse. But as the immigration process will go on, it may not cause too mcuh delay in processing than the usual.

You guys may consider a 3rd party country to meet up if possible, but I suggest no traveling for a applicant during AP.

Liberal - Yes, your last name may be a problem for you but I know many "Khans" and "Muhammads" that get out of AP within 5 months. The thing is not to let the checks expire. If Islamabad US embassy acts quickly, then it may mean a short AP for you. Insha-Allah you will not have to endure what my husband and I are having to endure now. I thought 12 months was bad in theory, it is almost deadly living it. Maybe after Eid they will clear our case.

I send you my prayers.

God bless,

Tam

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.
