Hello my fellow visa journeyers,

I was schedualed a bio. appt on 04/05, but I instead decided to go in the same day I received my bio notice (03/27). I went to the office in

Goleta, CA. But was very nervous because I did not have a passport to show them (long story), and no form of govt. ID.

But anywayz, I went in and they said that It was OK to take my fingerprints early. I then showed them what i did have, as far as ID, which was a college ID, a copy of my passport, and copy of my ss card. They quickly said no that will not do. I told them that I called the 800 # and they said it would be OK. The woman said "I dont care what they say, what I say is no" She was so mean she reminded me of the truchbull. Then the securityofficer told us to come back tomorow and to speak to the immigration officer, he is the one that could decide.

The securityofficer was the nicest, sweetest man that I have ever met, he realy tried to help. Well we came back today, spoke to the immigration officer, he was so nice and helpful, and took alot of time to talk to us and explain evrything, we were talking to him for quite a while because he and my husband went to the same federal accademy, so they were chatting awawy, and said OK I can take my bio. He also said that if we have any problems during our interview (in regards to my passport), to give our interviewer his name and tell them to call him.

All the woman there were just as mean and cold as can be, but the immigration officer and the security guard were truly a breath of fresh air. iI know we all get frustrated sometimes dealing with rude uscis workers and operators, but I want to insure everyone that there are ones out there that truly care and want to help, finding them is like a needle in a hay stack, but their there. I wish everyone the absolute best with your cases.

sofia2009, first let me say, you guys are such a cute cute couple

And we just walked in and asked if we can take it today because my husband (which is also my ride) works on the schedualed day, and it was no problem. But we went early in the morning as soon as they oppened up so there was absolutely no crowd.

We also tried to see if there was a phone number to the office, but there isnt, just show up early before a croud appears, and you should be fine. All the best to you two!

I was so frustrated to do my biometrics again (because it means that the whole process is delayed) that I showed up today (wednesday) instead of 04/17 and thanksfully, I spoke first to an employee who waked in my direction because he was very nice. He told me it was ok to come earlier! But the woman at the reception desk was mean and refused me when she saw the date on the appointment letter. I told her that her colleague said it was ok... they talked for a while and I heard she told him not to do that again...

She has been "forced" to let me in the queue after talking with her supervisor.

All in all it took me half an hour and my biomertics are re-done.... Fingers are crossed that the FBI will be able to process the fingerprints card this time <_<
