Forms I-693a and DS-3025, Medical and Vaccination Supplements When Adjusting Status

Hello All

I have a question about vaccination...this is my situation

I arrive here in December, 25

We marry last march,20

We want to Adjust Status as soon as possible now.

I am aware that I need to send this form I-693a in the package.

I have in hands my DS-3025 that show my shots and that I still need more shots for to complete my vaccination.

After I receive this DS-3025 from my doctor in Brazil, I took more a few shots in Brazil after that...(December) and here in USA I took more 2 shots in January .

But I still need to wait until May for to receive my last Hepatite B dose.

My question is...

Can I send this I-693a without this last shot, with the package for AOS? What happen in this case?

Or I will need to wait all this time before to send the package for AOS?

Someone can help me please?

Have you taken your vaccination worksheets and the proof of your other shots to the approved Immigration physician here in the States and had him transfer your vaccination history to the I-693a yet? If yes, does the I-693a say that your vaccinations are incomplete or complete? If the I-693a says that you have received all of the shots then you can send off your AOS. I don't believe that you have to have received all of the booster shots that go along with a vaccination sequence in order to have the I-693a listed as completed, so as long as you have proof that you have started the Hep B sequence - if you are required to have it- you should be able to get the I-693a listed as complete.

You do know that the DS3025 is not the I-693a form? That it is the doctor here in the States who looks at the DS3025 form and all of your proof of additional vaccinations and then completes the I-693a form? The doctor will give you the I-693a in a sealed envelope. You can ask him give you a photocopy for your own records so you will know what it says. You include the sealed envelope with the I-693a inside it with your AOS application, not the DS3025 (unless the DS3025 showed that all of your vaccinations were complete which you say, they were not).

I still don't have this I-693a. So, I guess that the best thing to do is to call to the doctor and ask about this situation...

make sure to call a civil surgeon that is registered with uscis!! dont just call any doctor, that wont help you! i think you can find a link on the uscis webpage with a surgeon locator.

If you can get the sealed envelope from the civil surgeon quickly, I'd do that. Otherwise you can file without it and bring it to the interview.
