Hello everyone, Gabriel arrived yesterday...I was so excited to see him... Finally..... Our reunion has been wonderful...After we hugged and kissed.. We sat down to wait on the baggage to come.. I asked him to see his visa.... I can't believe I waited almost two years for something so small but it was a wonderful sight..and the stamp in his passport that allows him to work was so small I don't know what I was expecting to see, but I was so glad... This is over and our lives can start... He met my oldest son and my grandson yesterday.... they were real happy to meet him... He said his journey was a long one, he was very tired from the flight and he was very hungry he said he didn't like the food once he left Amsterdam...He said he went through customs with no problems at all, I asked him did they look at his x-rays he said no, they asked him who he was going to see, and what type of work he did, he said the gentlemen that asked him was impressed that he had a degree in accounting and that he worked two jobs and one he was a supervisor, so he told him good-luck and let him through...

Our first meal was Chili's... he found out he loves steak fajaitas..... he ate his and mine.... we went to the grocery store and he took pictures of the pharmacy, the lady didn't know what to say..... we went to the mall and his eyes were so big he took so many picture one of a place they whitened teeth....ha-ha he was just amazed... He said he had a hard time understanding people they talked so fast and in Africa they don't say a lot of excuse me, thank-you, please... and he said he's so amazed at how much people smile here...... He is adjusting very well. I'd better go back to our room and wake him up to adjust to our time-zone.... Thank you so much for all the advice and prayers, Gabriel and I are praying for your journey as well... May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding keep your hearts and mind... God bless you and the best is yet to come......

I always enjoy the details when someone comes over and sees everything for the first time :)

Sounds like you are having a lot of fun.

Glad he liked his and your fajitas :D Did you go to the buffet yet ?

This story was so cute! Thanks for the update. One of the best parts of this is seeing them discover all of this "newness". It's priceless. Have fun together and congrats!!
