Wow, I wonder if you can somehow get an extension! Can he put the papers together and UPS them over night? There has to be a possible way to have this done.

Employer letters are a good idea but not a requirement. Pay stubs will usually suffice along with the tax returns. A bank letter is only needed if you are using liquid assets to overcome an income shortfall.

If the income is sufficient, you have at least one tax return and recent pay stubs, that is probably enough. If they end up asking for more, you can submit it later but he visa will not be issued until you do.

I would get I-134, tax return and pay stubs overnighted ASAP along with any relationship bona fide evidence and expect success.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Get what you can and have him scan and email everything to you. You can get everything in a few hours. They might want to see the employer letter in original, but I am not sure. You have enough time for everything except any original documents - if needed (and I don't think you need any originals at this point.) Good Luck

i wouldnt worry about employment letter if it is unavailable.

Just get everything together that you can. You still have more than 10 days. cant see why you wouldnt be able to get everything in order by then. I just scanned everything for my wife and pasted it all into a word doc. just have him DHL any necessary originals.

Very worst case is that they need something else, give a 221g for pending docs and mail the passport as soon as they are received.

Nothing really to worry about here. At least try not to!!

P's interview is on April 25th. I don't have pay stubs (we just moved and who knows where they are) and I am filing taxes this week. But he's got the emploer letter and the affidavit of support.

I think if you have James send everything to you this week, you should be fine. Frankfurt is QUICK! That I realized when P got Packet 3 before I even got notice from NVC that they'd sent the case on to Frankfurt :)

Try to not worry much. Read the embassy reviews about Frankfurt too, to help ease your mind a bit.

Good luck!
