Hi all,

Sorry to ask a silly question, or one that's been asked before, but I notice that as of 1st April the I-765 (application for employment authorization) can now be e-filed.

I am filing concurrently with my I-485 (application to adjust status based on marriage to USC). Should I go ahead and e-file my EAD application, or does this still need to be sent with the I-485? Would it cause any confusion/problems? Any idea whether it's faster or not?

~Oct 17th, 2006 Rescheduled AOS interview, Chicago, 11:00am - approved pending FBI name-check

~Dec 29th, 2006 AOS approved! Welcome notice mailed!

~Jan 11th, 2006 Received GC!! Hooray!!

im not sure someone with more knowledge might help more but i believe to e-file ead you need to get noa1 first from aos.....

if you file ead with aos that will have to be paper not e-file, its a different process

Maybe it is possible to E file for EAD. But I am not sure.

I checked USCIS site and found this page

There is "Adjustment of Status" category. This is it?

Jan/2005 Husband entered US on J1 (NOT subject to 2 years home country resident requirement)

4/28/2006 Got FP Final Notice(which says take FP anytime anyday) with original Notice!!
