Is it normal to received this kind of email from uscis after your interview and telling you that they need to do a background check,Does this mean we are on hold but the card production has been ordered?

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 28, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case.

Neonred,i got this email the the same day after i had my AOS interview.im all confused now because the lady said that she cannot approve me because they need to do the background check because my birthdate said 1982 instead of 1984.so im wondering if its normal to recieved this after she told me she cant approve me?

THis is the email that tells you - that you are getting the greencard. Its basically in the mail - some people get it a week after this email others within 4 to 6 weeks. So relax and have another MGD.
