Hey guys...

So I called GOV when I got home from NJ on the 25th of March and the nice lady told me that they had mailed out my package 3 on the 17th...well here it is, the 28th and still nothing.

Monday it will be 2 weeks....

I emailed Montreal asking them if they have my correct address (they should, they had it right on all the other documents) and possibly if they could mail me another one. They take like 4 to 5 business days to respond.

Do you think I should call GOV on Monday if it's not in the mail???

Has anyone else been in this situation???

Granted, Easter weekend was thrown in there so no mail for 4 days but come on..it's not being mailed THAT far!

Thanks dudes...I'm just stressing a tad.

Have a great weekend! :star:

From a different country but I just got packet 3 today. Exactly 4 full weeks and 2 days later. I know it gets annoying waiting but just wait a 'lil bit longer. It could be in the mail any day now.

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

It took 4 weeks from the time they mailed it to get to you???

See, I know it's in the mail....it doesn't take 2 weeks to mail a letter from inside Canada to a Canadian address.....

:(

Thanks for the support though, I appreciate it.

Hey here is what my fiance did she could not wait for the slow mail to get to her since she live 3 miles from consulate she went to them and ask for a packet because there was a change of address and she was worried she would not recieve the packet. They just gave her one there. If you are close enought to your embassy you could try the same thing. She filled out the paper work before she got her packet and was ready and took it to consulate herself so she not have to use the mail system. Now we hope to hear our interview date soon.

I hope this will help you, I know is sounds like cheating but all you are really doing is cutting out the middle man (mail service) and you feel better when you deliver it yourself.
