I know when we sent the N-400 for citizenship, we had to wait 5 weeks for the NOA and then it was another week before we got the bio appt. Compared to those that had waited for 5-6 months for them to cash a check it hasn't really been much of a wait.

I guess I'm in another boat altogether then....we recieved our Bio letter rather promptly, but haven't heard from the 1 year extention letter yet.

Good luck!

Haven't received either NOA or bio appointment letter and it has been over 4 weeks now:-( (Big Sigh!)

I really have no idea how they do their jobs.

I just talked to a thai girl this morning.

She said one of her friend got her 10-year GC within 2 weeks after she'd done her fingerprint.

So she strongly believes that she will get hers very soon, too.

When I told her there were a lot of people waited for their 10-year GCs longer than 5 months, she didn't believe me at all.

Maybe some people just have super good luck. :wow:

My wife got her NOA on march 7th. 2008. no BIO appt. yet. she applied to CSC.

looks like they stop working on this matter nationwide??

the funny thing is the ASC isn't busy at all, at least the one in my area.

a person i know went there to do her fingerprint last friday.

she said she was in and out within 15 mins.

I'm in the same boat!

We mailed the packet to CSC for my husband on Monday, March 10, and received the NOA 1 year extension on Friday, March 14 (dated March 11), and haven't heard anything since!

I was optimistic seeing people recently filing with CSC and getting their Bio Appt in the mail only a couple weeks after filing, but those couple weeks have come and gone...

So I've been doing the same thing, checking on the timelines for people that filed around the same time as I did and found that either they haven't received there Bio appts, or haven't updated their timelines.

Anyhow, though its a crappy situation to be in, its nice to know there are other in the same situation. AOS wasn't very smooth for us (they never processed EAD or a Biometrics Appt., we got our interview first, made things long and complicated....), so I was hoping this would be a breeze... For all of our sakes (and sanity!) I hope the get a move on it!
