:dance: Akram has his packet, and I have sent my paperwork to him. He has medical exam Sunday and should have my paperwork same day! We are soooo excited....

Can anyone tell me the average time from the embassy receiving his packet 3 to when they will schedule his interview?

Oct 11, 2006 I130 Approval Oct. 26, 2006 I129F Approval

Nov. 8, 2006 Recieved letter that I-129 was sent to Amman, Jordan

Dec 13, 2006 Recieved Package from Amman Embassy for K3 Intreview date Aug. 15,2007

Mar 05,2007 Embassy called interview scheduled for March 19th

Mar 19, 2007 Interview for K3- AP

May 20, 2007 Embassy called for Hasan to send in his passport!!!

May 24, 2007 Recieved Interview date of June 5th for CR1?

June 05, 2007 Interviewed and she said he was approved, kept passport and said will recieve in 4 days.

June 12, 2007 VISA IN HAND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 21, 2007 Hasan arrived in the USA and so very happy!

June 26, 2007 Applied for SSN

July 06, 2007 SSN in hand

July 25, 2007 Green Card in Hand!

Aug 13, 2007 Behind the wheel test, Passed. Now has California DL

I-751

Mar 26, 2009 Sent in I-751

Mar 28, 2009 Proof received

April 1, 2009 check cashed

April 3, 2009 NOA Received

April 16,2009 received bio appt letter

April 24, 2009 Biometrics Appointment

June 6, 2009 Removal of Conditions Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

July 17, 2009 10 Year Green Card in hand!

Only took us a week or two to get our date so hopefully you'll get yours quickly too! Just keep checking the Cairo Embassy website where they have the interview dates updated. Someone else might have the link since I can't look it up right now. Good luck! :thumbs:

Congratulations! Wow, let me think back....I sent him all the papers he needed from me in january 2007, he sent everything in by the end of january, had his interview scheduled for april 2007.

My fiancee mailed his packet 3 information in 2/24 and received his packet 4 interview letter on 3/1...our interview was 2 weeks later. Hope this little bit of info helps. Best wishes on everything.

I think Ahmed got his packet 3 around Dec 15th or so.......and sent it in on Jan 2nd. His interview was Feb 11th.

I think when they sent him packet 4, the wait for the interview was only 2 weeks.

It took about 4 weeks to get Packet 4 from the time he sent in Packet 3, but you can look at my timeline and see

exactly.

Then, of course, you know the rest of the story..........visa in 2 to 3 weeks and we are now on week 8. :crying:

Even though I KNOW tons of people who have waited much longer for their visa and are still waiting.......some get lucky and others not.

7/12/2006----Replied to RFE (IMBRA) Sent back.

7/17/2006----Our 1 year Anniversary!!!!

7/19/2006----VSC recieved RFE (IMBRA).

7/20/2006----touched

8/18/2006----touched

8/18/2006----NOA2!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!!

8/18/2006----VSC sent our petition to NVC.

8/19/2006----touched

8/22/2006----NVC recieved our petition.

8/23/2006----NVC sent our petition to Cairo Embassy.

8/25/2006----Recieved NOA2 Approval letter in the mail.

8/28/2006----Recieved NVC letter with new case number.

8/31/2006----Cairo Embassy recieved our petition.

9/24/2006----I emailed the Embassy reguarding my fiance's packet 3.

10/17/2006--Cairo sent packet 3 for the second time to my fiance. First one was never recieved.

10/19/2006--Packet 3 recieved.

12/20/2006--Packet 3 sent.

12/21/2006--Cairo Embassy recieved packet 3.

2/21/2007---Packet 4 recieved.

3/12/2007---Interview (He Passed)!

3/12/2007---Administrative Processing begins.............God please help me get through this!

7/17/2007---Our 2 Year Anniversay!!!

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

You can always E Mail the Embassy and ask. I don't really remember ours, but it was no more than 2 weeks or less.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congrats this is exciting indeed....well we had a bit of a snag w/packet 3 being "lost" through DHL because of a big accident...anywho...when Cairo got our packet 3 it was about 10 days and we had the interview date...about 15 and my SO had his letter w/the interview date...and the interview date was about 30 days from when it was set...good luck!!
