Is it really *jet* black? or is it a very dark brown? Red definitely either way, but some nice golden tones would look good as well. Heck, so would both.... going for a tortoise shell type effect.

Yes, it is JET JET black...I don't get this done often but last time I did caramel and red (but the red really didnt show up majorly maybe it was too light)..

so are you guys talking about like ''cherry red"????

I think that might look HOT...

NO ZEBRA STRIPES!!!

(Sooo "yesterday" and kinda tacky - IMHO)

If you like it funk, how about fuschia?????

Or lighten it and then put a semi permanant color of red on top. It will give you various shades or red brown with black.

funny i have highlighted hair and i JUST called to make an appointment to get my hair dyed dark brown! (not jet black..doesn't look good on me)

depending on your skin tone i would probably go with chestnuts and caramels. :)

the reason i do not recommend reds is because you have to get them redone more often than chestnuts/caramels! red washes out tooooo fast! and when it does it looks like poop!

it's a little wacky and crazy...but i just got very subtle, hot pink streaks done on the bottom layer---doesn't really show unless i really move my head around...haha..and it was just about the craziest thing i've ever done....but--i LoOOOOOOOOOOVe it!! haha....it's semi-permanent tho...so now it's baby pink.....cute either way...haha...but you'll definitely need to bleach it first..i did it at home...spent about $25 altogether..haha..

ETA * I forgot to help you make a decision..haha...i like red..that pic looks hottttt!! haha...i mean the one with the black and red hair!...but i don't like the zebra stripes too much...i like it to be more subtle...but that color is amazing!

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth
