Hi folks,

I know NVC won't really address it until after 90 days, but is that normal these days? I found only another couple with similar situation.

Thank you for any insights.

Call the NVC and give them your USCIS Number. they should give you better answer.

It is not normal for the NVC to not have received your paperwork after two months. Call them and the USCIS again and demand an answer because I've seen cases where after months of waiting they realized that they were lost in the cracks.

I say 2-6 weeks is normal, 7 is pushing it, but after 8 weeks they need to give you a logical explanation.

I was told average time for papers to arrive was 2 to 4 weeks. After the 4th week I started calling USCIS and they submitted a service request or something like that. They never once told me that I needed to wait the 90 days. Come to find out that it was just sitting somewhere. It took about 2 weeks and they finally forwarded it. So start calling. You got to keep calling. If they say call back in 2 weeks. Call back in a week. Just keep on them.

Oh and my case was approved on Jan 10 and wasn't received in NVC until Mar 3rd. But it only took 1 1/2 weeks after USCIS told me that they had forwarded it.
