Perceptions are everything. I think that is your Achilles heel when it comes to arguing...you make broad generalizations based on your perception which is influenced by what ever limited exposure you have to everyday Americans.

Stating the obvious does not help either. You guys went on and on about slavery like I was denying it or discrediting it. Far from it. But then again talking about something over and over again does not change a dam thing.

I have watched a number of democratic conventions and their generalizations make mine look pale in comparison.

Yeah... except the difference is that you claimed to have these solutions that society has been overlooking.

Well yes while your solution is stating that I am ignorant and racist. Maybe that'll solve poverty hey..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Well your ignorance and racism is self-evident. That being the case - you're as far from a workable solution on racial integration and social equality as Jeremiah Wright.

Especially given that your entire rationale over the past few days - based on this idea that

What's the point in your even suggesting "solutions" because it seems clear that you don't believe Blacks (from any national background) can amount to much of anything. An exercise in futility for you, no?

Generalizations aren't bad...it's when you make them based on your own limited observations and then mistake it for truth. For example, if you grew up in neighborhood that was predominantly black and being the minority in the neighborhood, you were subjected to harassment, maybe have gotten jumped, etc. If you were to say that you're view of blacks in general is that they are violent and believed that as truth, you'd be making a huge leap.

Unlike some others here, my observations do not need to conform to a group consensus to be valid. Observations are generally made by one person and will, when original, go against the grain. I asked some valid questions above and as usual am yet to receive a detailed response. You know one of those reponses you guys demand from others.

Should I too bother asking for proof. So if someone does respond be prepared to provide proof that your response is accurate and will work. So far the only response made has something to do with beer. As well as the usual lets divert the topic rather than actually answer any question. Only a matter of time before the word tangent gets thrown in..

#6 stick to the thread for once and try discussing the thread rather than your views of a person or their responses. No that hard to do really..

You claimed to have solutions in a previous thread. You don't have any - outside of economy class boat trips to Africa and pretending that social disparities between ethnic groups are all about attitudes and not anything tangible and that real-world inequalites are simply imagined.

In fact, its frankly insulting to see you here in a new thread - pretending to be open-minded about solutions, with this kind of bone-head nutfcukery.

with this kind of bone-head nutfcukery.

Bravo chap. For a second I thought you had an idea of your own that does not involve ridiculing someone else. You're nearly there though.

Well given your whole rationale for what's wrong with "the black community" is based on a grotesque caricature - I'd say next to that I'm spotless.

I am after, not the one defaming an entire ethnic group.

First, were talking about social behaviors which nobody can accurately observe let alone make a hypothesis from just casual observation. Think about it. If I grew up in a predominantly Greek American neighborhood and was subjected to harassment including being beaten up by the locals, does that mean if I draw the conclusion that Greeks are prone to violence, my hypothesis would be valid?

Maybe I should adopt your rationale and just start condemning people of something they don't even believe in. You make false assertions about my post and stance yet expect me to take you seriously and respond in a professional manner. back. Not going to happen. I'll only reply or discuss something with someone who actually wants to discuss a topic.

I thought up of those forum rules as a joke. Yet as it turns out you guys have proved them correct since then.

The "Black Community" according to Boo-Yah

Now that I think of it I have hardly ever met any black Americans abroad. Maybe it is not in the culture to travel abroad, let alone migrate.

So you're saying you choose not to associate with black people.

We don't have anything in common.

The community does a fine job itself stating that I would not understand black culture.

People like this??

Ah yes "the community". I see.

Maybe i'll get along with these guys better.

Have you even seen this video?

PS Pay attention to the people clapping and cheering at what he says..

Trying telling that to this girl.

Maybe I should become the murderers friend.

Lets consider another scenario. Do you think someone from Toyota has a 'right' to comment on the way GM and Ford is run if they have ever seen or been to their plants. I would say yes. Clearly you would say no. The guy from Toyota would obviously use his own experience and judgment to form an overview of what he 'believes' to be the issue for the other two manufacturers. To the contrary based on what you have been say your logic would be that his view is irrelevant because he has not been to a Ford or GM plant.

PS Please don't insult your own intelligence by responding with a what does toyota and GM have to do with the situation.

The "Black Community" according to Boo-Yah

Take note of Rule 4.

Number 6 ACME school of forum posting

The rules:

1. Always ridicule and attack anyone who you disagree with. The more personal the better. Don't allow them to explain or clarify their own opinion. ###### em!! If it sounds racist then it bloody well is racist!! Drill it in!!

2. Ask them to provide proof for just about everything they post. Even if they state what a beautiful day. Demand proof of it. Naturally when people discuss and debate things in person they always follow on with a prove it comment..

3. Then if they do provide the proof you asked for, rebut it and discredit it. Say it's off topic, or stupid or the author is an idiot.

4. If the conversation starts getting a little tricky or you have nothing else to ridicule, just start bringing up #### from the past or from other threads. Look for weaknesses in their sentence structure or punctuation errors. That'll show them!!

5. Also try to get as many of your buddies as possible to help and gang up on the person. Get everyone to ask questions at once then call him out for not answering them all.

6. Then basically repeat the process until the other person is tired of hearing your BS for the 500th time..

PS Never ever actually post proof of your own. And of course if you do post proof. Swear by it as if it's the law of the land.

Wow.

Good job putting that together, N6

Rule 5. also proven by Troll. You're the man Troll. Thanks for the help..

Your "rules" are all very nice - even nicer seeing as you've been tweaking them all day, and have now dropped PH's name from the school.

But... These are all things you have said. And its demonstrated quite clearly that this is your conception of the "the black community" - Gangbangers and Jeremiah Wright.
