Yup! Right here... my fiancee recently scheduled her medical exam and visa interview. The embassy said April is FULL already so they gave her May 14 medical exam and May 21 Visa Interview which is PERFECT!

The notice letter from the embassy also arrived the day my fiancee called to schedule her interview. The embassy even said that beneficiaries DO NOT have to wait for the notice letter before calling( which don't make any sense...how do we know they have our application? we keep calling and get charge per minute?).

They also instructed my fiancee to download and print the packets and forms online from their website. It means they stopped sending forms and packets to beneficiaries in the philippines.

Good Luck everyone!

hello there! I'm new to this forum. I read the same thing about my visa interview and medical wiht the same thing posted here. 12:30 and 6:30 am for my interview appointment. My question is, can I ask them to move my interview earlier? and what would be the numbers to call for that query. thanks a lot

hello!

My schedule of interview is on May 22 at 6:30 am and i was asking if that can be moved earlier still since i read here that medical can be scheduled earlier cause they gave me wrong schedule at 12:00 Am. THis forum is a great help. Im grateful they introduced me this site

I believe you can move your schedule. Someone from here have tried that and they were given a new schedule of their preference (based on the available scheds).

About what number to call, this thread will help you: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...l=new+procedure

ok if im goign to have the interview next week is that possible?

I don't think it would work, since when I called the embassy 2 days ago the earliest available was on 05/13. You could try though.

Hello guys,

I am goin to pay for Visa Application later and i need some clarifications please before i print my forms..

i need your advise please... :crying: :crying: :crying:

In DS156,

In number 36 question, Has Anyone Ever Filed an Immigrant Visa Petition on Your Behalf?

I answered YES. and put my husband's name, because he filed for IR-130 for me.(is this correct?)

another question please, in number 25 question, is a business phone number mean also work number of my husband? (my husband dont have business) but works in prison. Should i put his work's number in business phone number or i put NONE?

Thanks for concern.. :)

#36. None. that question is a little bit tricky but it actually asked if before your present petitioner, has anybody else from the past ever filed a visa on your behalf.

#25. Yes you can put your husband's work/office #. sometimes they will do a background check of your petitioner.

Hi we got our interview schedule this morning, it's gonna be on May 14 7:30AM. I am waiting for my confirmation letter to arrive in my email, when do you think they will gonna send it? - You should receive the confirmation email seconds after setting up interview schedule or maybe a few minutes after. In our case after my fiance told them my email, they emailed me the confirmation right away, I received it while Ricky was still talking with the call center agent.

Once I have it can I have my early medical? What else should I bring in my medical aside from the USE letter, passport and 2x2 pictures? -yes, just print it out and then bring your passport and 2x2pics... refer to the new packet 4 for all the things required for the location map for st. lukes.

Can anybody tell me the DETAILS about CFO? When should I go for the seminar, before or after the interview? Where is it located? etc -http://www.cfo.gov.ph/counseling.htm

I don't have printer at home, can I just download the DS forms and answer everything offline (handwritten)? Please advise. -pls. refer to sherif uling's K1 guide, there's a portion there about filling up the forms... you can also save the forms on your hard disc, fill it up then save it on CD or USB and just have it printer at any net cafe.

I have to make 2 payments in the bank, one in Metrobank for the documents verification fee and in BPI/CitiBank for the visa fee. right? - yes

I will apreciate all the answers... thank you guys

Yup! Right here... my fiancee recently scheduled her medical exam and visa interview. The embassy said April is FULL already so they gave her May 14 medical exam and May 21 Visa Interview which is PERFECT! - I have the same interview date as your fiancee and my fiance's name is also Ricky but we will have medical on the 13th so we have the full 4 days that week just in case my kids will need an extra day more for medical (skin test result, etc.)

The notice letter from the embassy also arrived the day my fiancee called to schedule her interview. The embassy even said that beneficiaries DO NOT have to wait for the notice letter before calling( which don't make any sense...how do we know they have our application? we keep calling and get charge per minute?). -we can always call NVC to confirm the exact date they send our papers out then track its movement through DHL site or just wait one week from the date it was forwarded from NVC to USEM and then make a call. or we can wait for the notification letter and be delayed a week or two more before we can call... which means the earliest interview date available would have moved further.

They also instructed my fiancee to download and print the packets and forms online from their website. It means they stopped sending forms and packets to beneficiaries in the philippines.

Good Luck everyone!
