Dublin's different. They seem to be fairly quick. Maybe it won't be so bad.

From your mouth to God's ears (F)

I figured his interview would have been in June sometime-guess I'll have to wait & see what they tell him Thurs. I am still hoping that maybe she was just a bit confused.

Do most people get fingerprinted the day of the interview? How much is it? I don't remember reading about that anywhere.

Irishgirl-

I had to go through the same thing.. when the consulate told me I have to call them and schedule a day for fingerprinting, I was devestated and thought it would take 6+ months. I was turned back at the POE and they took my fingerprints. When your papers go through NVC, they show a 'HIT' and that is why they schedule a date for fingerprinting BEFORE the interview because they need to send the fingerprints to Washington D.C. The consulate received a response from D.C. in one month and I was invited for my interview.

Don't worry.. Yes, it will delay your process but it shouldn't take longer than one month. It also depends when your fiance will be able to go and give the fingerprints.. oh, and I had to pay $ 85 for it..

Good luck and let me know if you have any quesitons.

Thanks

A month feels like an eternity to me right now. I seriously can't deal with this ####### anymore. I am stressed, I told my new job I needed to take time off in May/June-not August...............I am sick of it all. Really I am. I don't want to deal with the phone bills-I want to get on with my life! Our lives. He got the noa2 3/7......................2 months ago. He could have had the freaking fingerprints by now.

Not happy :(
