Processing Times for Vermont I-130 - July 30,2007

It looks like they bought the time machine but they don't know how to use it because instead of going to the future and making progress they just went back in time.

I got of the phone with customer aggrivation a few moments ago and the reason told to me was because of the applications going back in fourth from CSC and VSC. I guess CSC just sent a bunch of July applications over there. Really does make me wonder if they did misplace a ton of applications in the whole backlog issue. But atleast CSC went from July 30th to September 5th in 1 month, for now >.> until VSC sends back those July applications Dealing with USCIS is like dealing with slick talking street hustlers.

But this doesn't seem to be a plausible explanation at all. If you look at Eresh's latest posting,

there were only two July CSC'ers who were not yet approved, Asherah and Mohgli. Are these the files they were talking about? I haven't seen any postings from either that would indicate this is true of them. Plus, if the VSC is showing a completed date for I-130s of July 30th, then this means that these July files that they received from CSC are now complete. Either way, it doesn't make sense.

Unfortunately, that spreadsheet is not a clear picture of what VSC is doing because it leaves out those who applied for I-129F in addition to their I-130 (which are probably a majority of married filers).

what is going on with vermont ,I called two days ago they told me they working on august 19,2007 and when I checked time processing it was august 19,2007,now I am totaly depressed and totaly lost.did somebody call them today

It looks to me as though they are working on September. The few November filers that were being worked on could also have expedites...if I remember correctly, one of them did. I'm wondering now if I should go ahead and file for K-3.

There were 2 other November filers who have been approved without expedite, as well a January and a February

I too have been considering the K3 again lately, but according to a lot of people on here, the moment you apply for K3 with NOA1 it throws your timeline out and USCIS go from the priority date of you sending in the I-129F ..... so I was presuming it was a pointless exercise to send in the I-129F as we're already a couple of months into the process .... I didn't want to lose the time already waited.

If anyone can convince me that this is not the case, it would be really appreciated .... as I'm totally at a loss.

Arlington, this is the IR1 forum, not the K3 forum. Further, the I-130 went in for the majority of people in the last 6 months well before their 129Fs so they are a different kettle of fish entirely.

CSC's dates went from July 26 (which hadn't changed in months) to Sept 5 with this lastest update. Perhaps CSC did ship some files over to VSC. VSC historically processes faster than CSC. I have been monitoring the two service centers here and at least over the past 4 months or so, VSC has always finalized applications about 1 month ahead of CSC.

How many RFE's cases did they have for July????? I wonder if the packets may have gotten damaged in the transfers from us to CSC and to lockbox then to VSC?? So now they are asking for information to complete them??? Otherwise it dosent sound very logical that they would have that many RFE's and go back in processing time. It's great.. that they are gonna process those that have waited longer than us.. but its disheartening too to not have any idea of when they will finish and move on!! ANY JULY FILERS GET RFE NOTICE?
